The Treasurer’s place announced to be vacant by the death of Mr. J. Colebrooke; & summonses ordered to be issued for a new Election; the Election to be by ballot and the vacancy in the Council to be filled up at the same time.
Sir William Hamilton presents engraved prints of a most curious vase in his Collection and intends a copy of his new edition of volcanic eruptions in Italy etc. for the Society.
Drawings of the ruins at Pompeii were executed by Mr. Fabris
Margaret Vertue, widow of the late George Vertue, engraver to the Society, presents several plates of antiquities engraved at her husband’s own expense.
Account by Richard Gough of an ancient painting on the wall of an inner room in the old Rose Tavern near Temple Bar.
Tracts published by Monsieur Oberlin presented.
