The following Fellows were elected: Rev. John Warren, John Monro

Alterations and amendments to the Statutes of the Society proposed and enacted therein.

A brass Roman Urceus found at Urswick, near Dalton, Plain Furness, Lancashire exhibited.

A fragment of Livy discovered in the Vatican.

A letter from Mr Cauldwell communicating extracts from Mr. Saintlee Kniveton relating to descent of Baronies through the female line, shown to be legal.

Many of Kniveton’s collection given by Lord Chaworth to M. Thoroton, author of the history of Nottingham, see note.

Oxford University return thanks for the 2nd volume of Archaeologia.
