Picture at Windsor of the royal interview between Henry VIII of England and Francis I of France between Guînes and Ardres in Picardy, also known as the Field of the Cloth of Gold. Sir Joseph Aloyffe’s account thereof; application made at the bequest of the Society to His Majesty for leave for a drawing to be made of the picture; leave granted accordingly; occasional assistance promised to defray the cost.
