Dr Swinney exhibits a fossil Buccinum found in a quarry at Malton, Yorkshire, together with a Roman urn and coins.
Mr Darker exhibits a piece of oak plank with a raised inscription* with a figure, found with a spearhead and spur in Mr Keck’s house at Stoughton Grange, Leicestershire.
Charles Lyttelton on a copy of a will [quoted in full] taken from an antient register callled Custumale Civitas Roffen in the Archives of Rochester relating to Charitable Foundation of St Katherine for Lepers (1316).
