Lyde Browne’s gift of a drawing of a marble bust of Hadrian found at his villa at Tivoli and purchased by Mr Weddell, MP for Hull.
Charles Lyttelton on a letter from Mr Pegge containing some strictures on the story of the famous combat between Guy, Earl of Warwick, and the giant Cobrand for the Crown of England [lengthy discussion].
Charles Lyttelton communicated three antient inscriptions on chimney pieces at Islechurch and Harby Bow [? Notts] [with drawing].
Lord Shelburne exhibits, a spear-head said to have been found in High Wickham [Wycombe?] Bucks [detailed account].
