The following Fellows were proposed for election: William Burt, Joshua Kirby, Robert Vansittart.
The following Fellows were elected: Richard Dalton, Richard Eyre, Daniel Minet, Major-General James Oughton.
Gift by William Bowyer of book entitled The Connection of the Roman, Saxon, and English coins deduced from observations on the Saxon weights and money by William Clarke MA Rector of Buxted and Residentiary of Chichester.
Robert Vansittart’s gift of Certain Tracts concerning the management of landed property Reprinted, including treatises on Husbandry and surveying attributed to Sir Anthony Fitzherbert, and of a translation of Zenophon’s [sic] Logos Oikonomikos [in Greek in the Minutes].
Charles Lyttelton exhibits several articles found in cutting through the largest of the barrows on Sandford Moor, Westmoreland [detailed account].
John Taylor died allegedly aged at least 123 as detailed in letters from John Walker and Dr Johnstone, also reference to occurrence of gold in Scotland.
