The following Fellow was admitted to the Society as Honorary Member: Martinus Panzano
Gift by William Hanbury of the new edition of Fabricii Bibliographia Antiquaria printed by Paul Schaffshausen, Hamburg (1760).
Charles Lyttelton exhibits antique shield or target found underground at Hen-dinas near Oswestre [sic], Shropshire [detailed description], and drawing of the Miz-Maze or labyrinth on the road between Blandford and Pimperne, Dorset.
Philip Webb on some observations from the Rev Samuel Marsden of Lyth, near Whitby, on Domesday Survey, especially of counties north of the Humber [detailed account].
Lord Bishop of Ossory exhibits an oval ornament of brass found in the island of Sangay, west Scotland, three brass trumpets in the form of horns found in a bog between Cork and Mallow Cork [detailed description], and two silver fibulae found in Ireland.
Horace Walpole exhibits golden bracelet found in January 1761 in the Earl of Thomond's land at Shortgrove, Essex [includes drawing].
