Scope and content
Correspondence between the Society and Bideford library regarding the storage of 509 books at the library. It includes a full catalogue of books sent to Bideford, plans on the renovation required to store the books, including new shelving and discussion of the possible conservation of books stored against walls painted in gloss paint. There is also confirmation that some of the book bindings were damaged and scratched in transit. Also, discussions relating to arrangements for the collection to be returned to the Society in November 1945.
