Concerning [? Clibbourn] of the Royal Irish Society about ring money in the RIA's collection that has a printed head, and is "exactly similar" to the ones engraved in the Journal (Vol. 2, page 198) but of a much larger size. Also, there are four specimens of the same type in the same collection - "Sligo Ring," No. 9 in the Journal's plates, but perfect in form. They were all discovered in Ireland. The letter also mentions a lunar or crescent ornament and something that resembles a horseshoe, which belonged to the late Redmond Anthony of Piltown. He also mentions silver ring money in the form of a horseshoe.
