Concerning assisting with illustrating antiquities of his locality; also concerning a Fibula he placed in the hands of H. Long's staff at Darlington, of which he took a sketch; also concerning a Roman gravestone; also concerning a massive Roman gold ring at P.B., which the Countess of Darlington purchased, and it remains at Raby Castle or she has it in her own private possession at Newton House in Yorkshire; also mentions two Roman coffins found jutting out of a bank only a few paces below a sepulchre, made of sandstone and limestone, but no stones at the bottom.
