Comprises 2-page Memo dated 26 June 1905 from W G Smith regarding palaeolithic, neolithic and post Roman stones found at Caddington near Dunstable and enclosing 12 stones in explanation. Also note dated 30 June 1905 regarding return of the stones. Also 2-page note (enclosed with memo) regarding finds of a part of a whale skull and a human skull at the Valley of the Lea near Dunstable.
W G Smith was Local Secretary for Bedfordshire and made regular reports to the Society, for example Proceedings Vol 20 1903-1905, 29 June 1905, pps 354-357 and Proceedings Vol 21 1905-1907, 8 Feb 1906 pps 81-84, report given on objects found in or near Dunstable (none obviously relate to items described in these Memos).
