Scope and content
Bundle of papers relating to restoration works at Norwich Cathedral. There is discussion on the nature of works done and the impact of these works on some of the older features, as the decisions are confirmed by the Dean and Chapter without consultation from a historical academic.
There is a full 15 page report produced by William St John Hope which provides a detailed review of the building at present as well as an overview of proposed works, such as opening windows which were blocked up centuries prior and moving the organ, and whether or not they are deemed necessary.
