Letters from Edward Peacock, Edward Bell and Mr. Milman, relating to the republication of Peacock’s book “English Church furniture, ornaments and decorations, at the period of the Reformation”, which the Society was helping to reprint. There are also some estimates for the cost of producing 500 and 750 runes of the book and some discussion on the whereabouts of the original manuscript. Peacock was ultimately advised that he would be unlikely to be able to republish an updated, amended version of the book without incurring a reasonable loss.
