Fisher exhibits a charitable endowment from the reign of Henry VIII, relating to the distribution of twenty quarter of coal to the poorest residents of Stratford on Christmas day. The was initiated by Hugh Chesneale and Thomas Fisher notes that it has since lapsed and no coal has been received within living memory.
