Scope and content
Robert Nixon presents two seal impressions, one showing the treasury seal of the Monastery of St. Augustine in Canterbury and the other which appears to be older but is badly defaced, with only a partial section of the inscription visible. He also exhibits a brass medallion of Philip Count of Solmm-Lich. He mentions that the seals are from the collection of James Gomme of High Wycombe. A second letter gives a description and brief history of the seal of the treasury of St. Augustine in Canterbury.
