Two letters from John Latham discussing a translation in note [b] of p.362 in volume 15 of Archaeologia. He questions the choice to interpret ‘auca’ as a water bird named auks, suggesting instead that they instead meant goose. He also writes to present a copy of an exemption granted by a king in the 39th year of his reign, a full transcription is included.
