Letter from Robert Bryer introducing letters to be presented to the Society, one containing a statement of the injuries received by William Steward from Parliament in 1643, one detailing the protection granted to Nicholas Steward by Charles I with a third from Oliver Cromwell to the commissioners concerning the discharge of Nicholas Steward. He also discusses an illuminated pedigree from the 13th year of Henry VIII of the Steward family which he has seen.
A note states that this was read at the meeting of the 19th Nov 1803 but there doesn’t appear to have been a meeting on this date and it is not mentioned in the minutes of the 24th November.
