Pocket book of J H Packer of Liverpool, apparently engaged in the silk trade in Canton [Guangzhou]. The book contains many examples of Chinese 'chops' or trade seals, laid down opposite the names of the respective firms, or loosely inserted; some are elaborately decorated. John A.Goodall, FSA).
