Printing plate portraying Edward VI granting the charter of Bridewell Hospital; after a painting formerly attributed to Hans Holbein
Published by Vertue as the first and only print of the third part of his "Historical Portraitures". He gave a framed copy of the print to the Bridewell Hospital. Related to a drawing by Vertue in the BM (Binyon, 1907, 28) of the painting then attributed to Holbein.
