Printing plate with a double portrait of Mary Queen of France and Charles Brandon, Duke of Suffolk. Mary on the right, holding an emblem consisting of a caduceus emerging from a flower in her left hand, the other held by Charles Brandon, who wears a fur-trimmed overgown and the collar of the Garter, with a curtain behind to right, and with crown, Hand of Justice, sceptre, crests, lance and gloves on the plinth of the frame surrounding them

    The engraving is after a painting formerly in the collection of John Carteret, 2nd Earl of Granville, and now in the collection of the Earl of Yarborough.
