    Square wooden printing block showing:- Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting circular Roman fibula, or brooch, from Charlton Downs, Berkshire; with four identical perforations around the body arranged in a cruciform shape. Ink residue remaining on surface. Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface with two handwritten publication references.
