Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting the front of a Roman bone chape, or end of a scabbard, found in Wycomb, Gloucestershire; in a globular shape with a pointed end, with two crescent moon-shaped designs divided by a central line. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: small fragment of printer's waste paper attached to surface.
