    Square wooden printing block showing:- Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting Anglo-Saxon fibula, or brooch, from Fairford, Gloucestershire; with wavy motif decorating the disc and concentric circles at the centre. Ink residue remaining on surface. Reverse: engraver's signature on surface, and traces of printer's waste paper.
