Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting Anglo-Saxon vase from Fairford, Gloucestershire; with bulbous teardrop-shaped decorations on the body, which is slightly globular, and horizontal bands around the neck. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: two inscriptions on surface; engraver's signature, and manufacturer's mark, partly cut off by edge of the block.
