Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting chalice and accompanying paten from a church in Berwick St James, Wiltshire; the chalice with a rounded knot on its shaft, with the paten above engraved with the initials 'IHS' inside a circular compartment. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: handwritten inscription on surface in black ink.
