Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting two bronze spearheads and an axehead from Cyprus; the section view of the spearhead at the top is shown underneath it; section view of the axehead at the bottom left is connected by a dotted line. Signed 'Utting' below the smaller spearhead to the bottom right. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: manufacturer's stamp largely obstructed by printer's waste attached to surface, along with handwritten publication reference.
