Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting ring of Mary Queen of Scots; showing the royal arms of Scotland at the centre:- a shield containing a lion rampant held by two unicorns on either side; and the letters 'M' and 'R' on either side of a crown. Signed 'Cleghorn' at the bottom. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: traces of printer's waste paper attached to surface.
