Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting bronze pin from Derbyshire; with a slightly convex shaft and a globular end; with a scale at the bottom. Signed 'CP' within a rectangular border to the bottom left of the pointed end. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: trace of engraver's stamp on surface in blue ink, with small patches of printer's waste paper.
