Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting buttress on the transept wall from church in Frampton; Lincolnshire; showing a trefoil within the gable; topped with a fleur-de-lis; with an inscription at the centre in Middle English; and a carving of a male figure's head at the bottom. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper with type attached to surface.
