Square wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting Latin inscription from fragment of a tombstone on the Roman wall in Deva (Chester); in three lines inside a moulded border and only partially preserved, featuring dedication to a military tribune. Ink residue remaining on surface.
