Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting the signet ring of Henrietta Maria, wife of Charles I; showing a central crest containing a shield divided in four with representations of Scotland, Ireland and England; with the monogram 'HM' on one side and the letter 'R' on the other; a crown at the top; and a section view underneath with an outline of the diamond shape. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface.
