Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting two symbols on a Babylonian stone from c. 1200 B.C.; both consisting of concentric squares topped with a tube containing five small circles; with a further conical extension with wave-like design, leaning towards one another. From a paper on the origin of Zodiac signs. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface.
