Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting Anglo-Saxon metal spoon from a grave in Desborough, Northamptonshire; with a damaged bowl, a damaged base with a decorated loop, and a part on the reverse engraved underneath, with faint lines connected to the top of the stem denoting its location. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: handwritten inscription on surface denoting content of image engraved on the obverse, along with handwritten number in black ink and a small patch of printer's waste paper.
