Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting a Latin monogram inscribed on a ninth century lead plate, arranged around a diamond shape, with accompanying letter or symbol at each point, and the word 'signavit' at the top. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste attached to surface.
