Square wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting coat of arms on a mace from Aberavon; showing a shield containing two double headed eagles and two chevrons between three crosses; and three organ-rests or clarions, all within a circular moulded border. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: manufacturer's stamp in purple ink on surface, with unattributed number handwritten in black ink.
