Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting a sixteenth century dagger, between obverse and reverse views of its sheath; consisting of parcel-gilt blade and ebony hilt with three silver studs on the guard and pommel; with engraved motto along the blade and foliage design on either side of central rib. The sheath is leather and decorated on both sides, with two loops on the sides and an additional smaller sheath at the top. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface.
