Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting fourteenth century decorative tile from a church in Maidstone, Kent; showing two separate slabs joined together, with a depiction of a kingly figure cross-legged on a stone seat, under a canopy, holding a sceptre with three points. Ink residue remaining in engraved parts.
Reverse: engraver's stamp on surface; unattributed handwritten on surface.
