Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting the counterseal of the city of Winchester, with central inscription in three lines; a mark through an 'L' in the third line; a crucifix above; and a fleur-de-lis design underneath. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface.
