Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting elliptical-shaped object from Winterbourne Stoke, Wiltshire; with a rounded perforation at the centre; described as a possible amulet. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: manufacturer's mark carved into surface along with two handwritten publication references, and an additional handwritten inscription obstructed by printer's waste paper.
