Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting reverse of an impression from the oval silver seal of Joanna, Queen of Sicily (Joan of England); showing figure of the queen in a robe, seated, and holding an Occitan cross with outward extending arms; with legend. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper with type attached to surface with handwritten publication reference.
