Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting jet beads from a barrow burial in Yorkshire, nine of which are spherical and small, and three at the centre which are elongated and tubular, seemingly joined together with fibre. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface with handwritten publication reference.
