Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting a red agate Anglo-Saxon ring; with a runic inscription around the band, engraved at the bottom in its entirety. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: trace of manufacturer's stamp on surface, cut-off by the edge of the block; traces of printer's waste paper.
