Square wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting seal of Petrus de Pecci, a legal doctor from Siena, Italy, featuring a central representation of the doctor seated, reading a book bearing his name, next to a shield bearing three stars, and a legend. Signed 'Utting' at the bottom. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface.
