Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting a palimpsest brass rubbing of a figure in armour from a church in Stondon Massey, Essex; consisting of combined fragments from two separate brasses of differing dates. The lower part shows inverted canopies and arches. Signed 'Utting' at the bottom. Ink residue remaining on surface.
