Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting a Roman brass horse trapping from Cirencester, consisting of an elliptical body divided into two distinctly globular parts, with an additional hanging globular attachment at the bottom, and a hook and clasp at the top. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: manufacturer's mark carved into surface along with handwritten inscription obscured by printer's waste paper.
