Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting stone axehead from a barrow in Snowshill, Gloucestershire; with a slightly curving body, an oval perforation on its top surface, and two rounded points. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper with type attached to surface, with unattributed handwritten number.
