Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting Late Bronze Age bone pin, with one rounded perforated end which tapers to its pointed end, with its image scale carved at the bottom left of centre, from a hoard found from excavations at Heathery Burn Cave, County Durham. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper with type attached to surface.
