Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting Late Bronze Age axe casting mould, with a half-circular loop at the side and three linear ribs beneath the socket, from a hoard found from excavations at Heathery Burn Cave, County Durham. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: printer's waste paper attached to surface.
