Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting signature of Robert Cromwell, father of Oliver Cromwell, found on document from Lincoln relating to the marriage of clergy in the seventeenth century. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: 'Antiq' handwritten in pencil on printer's waste paper.
