Rectangular wooden printing block showing:-
Obverse: carved and engraved design depicting an engraved Roman stone slab from Wiesbaden, Germany, the upper triangular section containing an arched structure flanked by two sexfoils and a half moon, and the lower triangular part an inscription in Latin. Ink residue remaining on surface.
Reverse: part of manufacturer's stamp in black ink on surface, and some traces of printer's waste paper.
